*ikut tone the king/prince/watever in Night at The Museum 2*
sabtu dua kali yg sudah lepas (july 18th) *skemanya bahasa* we had dis awesome farewell cum bday party at ajay arcade. me n nadiah were in charge of appetizer n cakes. but we totally ignored the 'appetizer' part. gahaha.
there was a total of 6 cakes for 6 birthday girls & boys. 5 made by both of us & 1 secretly made by me. teheehee.
took more than 8 friggin' hours(!!!) to finally get em all done.*sweat* dahla ada blackout skejap summore! =.=''

menu of the night : -
main course : nasi minyak + mi sup (by ajay arcade ppl)
dessert: cocktail trifle + caramel custard (by swarna giri ladies + adoe)
fruits & drinks : ammar comel + bazli
cakes : by *ahem* miya + nadiah :P

the birthday girls & boys had no idea bout the content of those boxes & they kept on guessing n guessing...the most ridiculous guess was made by salwa (as expected).
she actually thought that we stuffed kittens inside em =.=''''''''''''''''''''''''
ookie ppl! let's see what's inside the 'mysterious' boxes, shall we? *excited*
salwa really look like a small kid sangat excited dapat cake. hahaha
now let's take a closer look at the cakes one by one :)
banana cake + vanilla lime frosting for Ms/Mr Salwa
(she can be both Ms & Mr btw..depending on how u look at her :P)

butter chocolate chips cake + butter sauce for Mr. Baihaqi
apple caramel cake + vanilla frosting for Ms. Puteri
chocolate cake + chocolate fudge for Mr. Yusri
nampak gross kan? hahaha. look at the fudge. sangatlah tidak neatly spread on the cake but heck, who cares! masuk tummy juga mah :P
carrot & walnut cake + vanilla lime frosting for Ms. Adora

it was mine & wayne's idea to include nadiah's bday celebration that night.
at first wayne suggested that he could just buy a ready made cake from the bakery and i actually agreed :P
but fikir punya fikir..it wont be fair for her to have a sucky cake bought from sucky cafe coffee day or even suckier (if there is such a word) manipal/amitha bakery while the others were getting a yummy ones..homemade lagi tu!
so i browsed through all the cake recipes on the net to find the easiest yet yummy cake possible for me to make the day after.
supposed to go shopping for the cake ingredients in d morning the day after with nadiah but i cancelled.
i went to pakcik bedak by myself to buy the things i need & head back home quickly before nadiah kluar shopping. at that time, i memang rush & bila kluar dari kedai pakcik bedak i kept looking around so that i wont bump into her. hahaha
so, finally i managed 2 get the cake done by the time she had done shopping. Thank goodness she never got to step into the house (coz we baked all the cakes at her house)..otherwise kantoi la :P
and before the party started, i asked wayne to come over & bring the cake to ajay arcade.
later that night, when all the cakes dah bawa naik...me & nad secretly turun balik bawa your cake pulak. teheehee
so yea nadiah, that's basically how i manage 2 keep your cake as a secret surprise for u that night. :D

even the fruits pun kena potong so nicely *terharu* :')

i really am gonna miss most of you who'll be heading home for good this coming august :'(
but fret not! i'll be joining u guys in Melaka soon!! :D
let's have another awesome party (even awesome-r) like this again when i finally get back, yes?
