Last thursday (23rd July) was Nadiah's birthday.
Since she, herself personally told me that she didnt want any surprise party, we decided to throw her a small lepak session cum bday party on her big day.
it was a totally one man show (T.T)
but i dont really mind coz i love both baking & deco..plus i feel more comfortable doing everything by myself.. & i was just plain jobless on that day itself anyway :P
so.... i got the cake done in the morning & simple deco afterwards :)

i remembered that i asked the bday girl the night before her bday whether she wants a cake or not
and, to my surprise..she replied "have i ever refused a cake before?" =.=''''
( i really thought she wont want another cake due to cake overdose on the day we had the farewell party at wayne's)
and when i asked her if she had a request on what flavour she wants for her cake..
she replied "surprise me"
i was stoned..for like 5secs & i thought to myself..oh my, this is gonna be tough.
coz you see..she's really good in baking & cooking so i know that i really have to bake a very yummy cake to impress her. tehaha
so i spent some time browsing through cake recipes & finally found a perfect cake to bake --- chocolate peanut butter cake + nutella glaze

colourful ribbons, a birthday card to hang on the curtain & balloons..
talking bout balloons...gosh i really hate balloons! coz tak suka bila the balloons meletup i really feel like im gonna die on the spot. damn scary ok!
if i join fear factor kan & if ada challenge yang suruh tiup balloon sampai meletup for sure kalah T.T
thought of waiting for salwa to come & help me with the balloons but she had postings in karkala.. for sure balik lambatla..so, tak jadi tunggu.
& i malas nak kacau farra who was probably studying her ass off or maybe tengah tengok movie or drooling at yamapi's pictures =.=''''
so, i decided to inflate all 6 balloons by myself..prayed hard while working at it & kept all my fingers & toes crossed hoping that the balloons wont burst.

farra & puteri came with snacks & soft drinks. salwa didnt come coz penat & badmood bcoz of her karkala posting =.=''''''
then we ordered food from Dishes..
sang the obligatory sumbang bday song..
nadiah blew off candles..
cut the cake, eat the cake..
food came, eat food pulak =.=''
(im obviously out of words now)
watched Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian
& our fav line was "and I have come BACK..to LIFE!"
also Kahmunrah's (Hank Azaria) fav line btw :P

just look at his facial expression. damn semangat. priceless!
so that's pretty much about it. it was just a simple party as requested by the bday girl herself :)
